Dan VanLandingham interprets the landscape of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, in oils and acrylics, capturing the physical and cultural changes that humans have made to the natural landscape. A SCAD alumnus (M.F.A., painting, 2012), VanLandingham’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at RJD Gallery, Sag Harbor, New York; the Michele Mariaud Gallery, New York City; shopSCAD, Savannah, Georgia; and Art Expo, New York City. His work has been reviewed in American Art Collector, New American Paintings, The New York Times and Art Business News. Prior to attending SCAD, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Green Mountain College, Poultney, Vermont. He lives and works on Martha’s Vineyard.
