ATLANTA (June 26, 2019) – Fred’s Meat & Bread will become the latest Atlanta-based restaurant to operate inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium beginning June 29 for the Atlanta United match vs. Montreal.

Fred’s famous cheesesteak sandwich is a creation of Chef Todd Ginsberg and has become an institution in Atlanta’s Krog Street Market since 2014. The sandwich features 10 ounces of ribeye steak, American cheese, and onions on a nine-inch hoagie selling for $14, the same price as Fred’s at Krog Street Market and the second Fred’s location at The Canteen in Midtown. Fred’s cart at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be near section 116.

MBS’s award-winning food and beverage experience, which has inspired a revolution in the industry with numerous professional and collegiate teams and venues across the country following suit, continues to offer the lowest pricing in professional sports.  In 2018 fans again rated the Falcons No. 1 in all food and beverage categories for the second consecutive year, including the two new categories added by the NFL for 2018; value, quality, variety, speed of service, variety of beverages and guest service.

To further enhance the fan experience, MBS became the first stadium to implement a complete stadium-wide cashless transaction model earlier this year. Transitioning to cashless transactions stadium-wide allows the stadium to speed transaction times, to further improve MBS’s already best-in-class speed of service.
